12 workers trapped in Sikkim tunnel after landslide blocks entrance

Twelve workers are trapped inside a Sikkim tunnel after a landslide blocked its entrance. A suspected gas leak inside the Samardung tunnel complicated ongoing rescue operations. Rescue teams are equipped with gas masks to reach the trapped individuals. Ambulances are on standby as efforts continue to free the workers. The tunnel is part of a highway construction project in Namchi district.
