Eight laborers died and 32 others were injured in a vehicle collision. The accident occurred early Tuesday morning near Chhimka village on the Bhind-Gwalior National Highway. Their pick-up vehicle collided head-on with a dumper truck after swerving to avoid cattle. The laborers were returning home after completing paddy transplantation work in Gwalior. Rescuers quickly arrived and transported the injured to a local hospital for treatment.
