Sooryavanshi controversy: Halambage faces sanctions after Dambulla altercation

Sri Lanka Cricket has reportedly sanctioned Sri Lanka A spinner Vishen Halambage following the heated post-match altercation with India A batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after the Super Over thriller in Dambulla. Wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella was also fined for a separate offence. India spin coach Sairaj Bahutule backed the 15-year-old Sooryavanshi, saying the youngster would learn from the incident.
