British GP 2026: Antonelli claims pole after sprint win, Hamilton misses out

Silverstone witnessed a thrilling start to the British Grand Prix weekend, with Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli securing pole position for Sunday’s race. Despite Lewis Hamilton’s strong performance, topping practice and taking Sprint pole, Antonelli fought back to win the Sprint race and then claimed his fifth pole of the season.
