‘Like daughter to me’: Shiv Sena neta denies hitting woman doctor, blames ‘camera angle’

Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre expressed regret over a physical altercation at a civic hospital. He denied assaulting a female doctor, attributing footage to camera angles. Mhatre stated he tapped the doctor’s hand, considering her like a daughter. The incident occurred due to systemic hospital shortcomings, he claimed. A case has been registered against Mhatre and five others.
