Palm Beach County rejects decade old ‘Project Tango’ AI data center proposal

Palm Beach County commissioners rejected an AI data center expansion proposal after a lengthy public hearing. Residents voiced significant concerns regarding noise, water, and electricity demands from the development. The proposed “Project Tango” expansion was voted down by a margin of five to one. Developer PBA Holdings Inc. stated that some project approvals remain unaffected by this decision.
