Student leader to education minister: Dharmendra Pradhan’s political career before NEET row

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post on Saturday. He submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to ongoing protests. Pradhan’s tenure saw the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. His political journey began in student politics in Odisha many years ago. He previously held key portfolios in the Union government since 2014.
