Car sold without disclosing prior billing to another buyer; Mercedes, dealer fined Rs 10L

A Delhi consumer commission ordered Mercedes-Benz India and T&T Motors to pay compensation. The commission found they failed to disclose the vehicle’s earlier purchase history. The buyer learned of the discrepancy when servicing records showed an earlier registration date. Both companies engaged in unfair trade practices by concealing this information.
