PMAY-U 2.0 in Kerala: Who gets Rs 4 lakh housing assistance and how it is funded

Kerala will implement the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 scheme soon. Approximately thirty thousand eligible beneficiaries will receive housing assistance under this new phase. The Centre will provide Rs 1.50 lakh, and the state government Rs 1 lakh per house. Municipalities and beneficiaries will contribute the remaining Rs 1.50 lakh for each home. This move ensures Kerala secures Rs 450 crore in central government assistance.
