A special NIA court has delivered a severe sentence to ten Maoists, condemning them to death for their role in the notorious 2013 Jhiram Ghati ambush, which claimed the lives of 27 individuals, among them senior Congress politicians and police officers. The ambush specifically targeted a Congress convoy in Bastar’s Darbha region.
