A second-year IIT-Bombay student died by suicide on Friday evening. He had used an AI platform to seek answers during an examination. Students gathered demanding a probe into mental health concerns and institutional actions. The institute stated no disciplinary action was initiated against the student. This incident follows another student suicide at the same hostel on July 28.
