India’s DRDO seeks industry partners for its 30kW counter-drone laser weapon. Final trials concluded in August 2025, demonstrating the technology’s readiness. This system targets drone swarms and surveillance sensors up to five kilometers. Smaller laser systems are already in production and ordered by the military.
