Oregon approves $2m deal to protect 92-foot Abiqua Falls and open public access

Oregon has approved a $2 million purchase of Abiqua Falls, a famous 92-foot waterfall that was put up for sale by its private owner in February. The deal includes 160 acres of land and will bring the waterfall under state ownership, while officials work on plans for management, maintenance and public access.
