Seventeen people were killed and fifteen injured following a shooting at a tavern in Wedela township. The shooting occurred late on Saturday night in Gauteng province, resulting in chaos among the patrons. Eight suspects reportedly armed with rifles and pistols opened fire on people inside and outside the tavern. Police have launched a manhunt and are seeking information regarding the suspects involved.
