‘Illegal detention by Assam Police has finally ended’: CJP’s Ranka to address press

Ashutosh Ranka, co-convenor of the Cockroach Janta Party, reported his detention by Assam Police has ended. He stated that he will address the media after being taken back to the original pick-up location. Several other CJP leaders were also detained in Guwahati before a regional volunteers’ meeting near the Assam Secretariat. Police prevented access to the meeting site, which aimed to gather around 200-300 volunteers from the region.
