Essex family left 50 farm acres wild; it inspired 200-acre nature recovery plan

Braxted Park Estate has initiated a 200-acre biodiversity recovery project following ten years of observation on 50 acres. This approach aims to enhance local ecological conditions and meet developers’ biodiversity obligations. Property developers can purchase biodiversity units through the estate’s habitat bank to comply with legal requirements. A long-term management agreement ensures the land will be protected and monitored for 30 years.
