In Lucknow, a 17-year-old allegedly killed his 42-year-old mother following an argument about gender-affirming surgery. The minor had been living as a female and wanted to undergo surgery. An altercation reportedly arose when the mother advised against the procedure. The teenager attacked her with an iron wrench, resulting in fatal injuries. He subsequently informed the police about the incident himself.
