In 2010, Marc Benioff and Lynne Benioff contributed $100 million to build a new children’s hospital at UCSF. Five years later, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco officially opened with 183 beds for pediatric care. Before the hospital’s opening, the Benioffs donated an additional $100 million to enhance healthcare services and research. The design prioritized family-centered care, including rooms for parents and outdoor recovery spaces.
