In a recent collaborative military drill named Eagles of Civilization 2026, Chinese pilots participated in air combat exercises with Egyptian Rafale and MiG-29 aircraft in Egypt. The focus was on enhancing close-range manoeuvring skills and electronic warfare tactics. The J-16 fighters, supported by KJ-500 airborne early warning aircraft, displayed their strengths in simulated combat, while Egyptian pilots took special interest in the electronic jamming techniques demonstrated by the Chinese force.
