UK collector paid £20 for comics; rare Superman issues later sold for £63,440

A collector’s chance find at a car boot sale led to a remarkable discovery when he purchased a box of comics for £20, only to unearth rare Superman editions hidden away in his loft for years. Following some online research during the pandemic, he confirmed that these gems, originally commissioned for a family bar mitzvah in 1988, could fetch a stunning £63,440 at auction.
