A garba event at Civil Lines hockey ground in Durg faced tensions when Bajrang Dal and VHP workers objected. The conflict arose after an NSUI office-bearer shared a promotional poster mentioning free entry. Members of right-wing organizations confronted the gathering, leading to a brief scuffle on stage. Congress leader Dheeraj Bakliwal was pushed during the altercation, which escalated quickly.
