In a surprising discovery, a family in London uncovered a mounted thylacine head tucked away in a box under their bed. This extraordinary specimen, one of only three known in existence, boasts a remarkable value. Auctioneum estimates it will fetch between £30,000 and £50,000 at their upcoming auction. Authenticated and cataloged in a global database, it’s an attractive opportunity for collectors and museums, given the stringent regulations on such items.
