A 20-year-old maritime student in Maval taluka tragically died after a basketball hoop collapsed on him during exercise. The student, Vishal Verma, was holding the metal ring when the post gave way, causing a fatal skull fracture. He succumbed to his injuries at Talegaon General Hospital.
