‘Terrible’: Ex-Ranji player dies of heart attack while playing in local match

Former Karnataka Ranji cricketer SL Akshay died of a suspected heart attack while playing a local division match in Bengaluru on Sunday. The 39-year-old fast bowler complained of chest pain during fielding and was declared dead at a nearby hospital. Akshay had represented Karnataka in Ranji Trophy and KPL.
