After SC order, West Bengal govt says no action against NEET protesters, except those with criminal records

West Bengal will not take coercive action against students protesting the NEET paper leak. This relief excludes individuals with prior criminal records, aligning with Supreme Court directives. Several BJP-led states, including Bihar and Assam, have already withdrawn cases against protesters. Maharashtra’s chief minister also ordered the withdrawal of cases against student demonstrators. The Cockroach Janta Party awaits further action on their demands.
