AI tests 40 of 100 million ways to 3D-print a NASA rocket alloy & found 6 that worked

Washington State University researchers used artificial intelligence to find better printing methods. This advance significantly reduces the cost and time for printing a critical metal alloy. The AI strategy successfully identified printable configurations for the GRCop-42 alloy. This innovation makes the alloy accessible for use on common commercial 3D printers.
