Two brothers from Maharashtra have become among the few Indian creators to make their manga debut in Japan after winning an international contest organised by publisher Kadokawa. Their action-comedy series Kung Fu Kung Fool is now being serialised in Japan. Their achievement comes as manga and anime continue to grow in popularity in India, strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
