Archaeologists find 9,500-year-old burial of young woman and fetus in Sweden

In a remarkable archaeological find, researchers uncovered the ancient remains of a pregnant woman along with her fetus in a Swedish cave. Dating back approximately 8,000 to 9,500 years, this discovery ranks among the earliest known burials of pregnant women. Future investigations will involve DNA analysis and radiocarbon dating to gain further insights. The cave is likely to have been used for the burial of other individuals as well.
