Asia C’ships: Ayush downs World No. 4 Christie; India’s first medal secured

Indian badminton player Ayush Shetty reached the Asia Championships semi-finals after beating world No. 4 Jonatan Christie, securing India a medal. He became the first Indian since HS Prannoy in 2018 to do so. After earlier upsets, Ayush now eyes the final, while PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen exited early.
