Asian Games Medal Tally: Historic hockey, wrestling golds power India into top 5

India now have 16 gold, 25 silver and 35 bronze medals, taking their overall tally to 76 medals. They are currently fifth in the standings, behind China, Japan, South Korea and Uzbekistan. China continue to lead the medal table with 162 gold, 81 silver and 73 bronze medals, for a total of 316 medals. Japan are second with 71 golds, 83 silvers and 85 bronzes, while South Korea are third with 33 golds, 39 silvers and 62 bronzes.
