Assam CM Himanta Sarma says woman sent to Bangladesh safe, son counters CM

Mumtaz Begum, a woman expelled to Bangladesh, remains untraceable by her family despite official claims of her safety. Her son, Momruz Ali, is pleading for government assistance to locate her in either country. The Gauhati High Court directed authorities to find Mumtaz and provide interim compensation to her husband. Reports indicate that searches in Bangladesh yielded no results for her whereabouts so far.
