Baby crib sent flying, 800k flee: Typhoon Noul hits China, 10 dead; scary visuals emerge

Typhoon Noul made landfall in southern China’s Guangdong province early Sunday. More than 800,000 people were relocated to safer areas in Guangdong. Hong Kong experienced significant transport chaos with hundreds of flights cancelled. Dramatic videos of the storm’s impact quickly went viral on social media. The typhoon weakened inland but heavy rain threats continue through Tuesday.
