Ocean Dream, a unique blue-green diamond weighing 5.50 carats, was auctioned at Christie’s Geneva for $17.3 million. This diamond, initially sold in 2014 for approximately $8.5 million, experienced a significant increase in value. Its distinct colouring results from natural radiation exposure during its geological formation. Notably, the Ocean Dream was previously showcased at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in 2003.
