Cabinet clears 4 railway projects worth Rs 9,450 crore across 4 states: Key details

The Union Cabinet greenlit five significant infrastructure initiatives totaling over thirteen thousand crore rupees. Among these, four railway multitracking projects will extend the network by four hundred ten kilometers, alleviating congestion and enhancing freight transport across various states. Additionally, an NH-22 highway upgrade project in Bihar will improve the eighty-two kilometer stretch, bolstering connectivity with the Nepal border.
