Cash stack at West Bengal school: Police recover Rs 1.77 crore from locked room

West Bengal Police unearthed nearly Rs 1.77 crore in cash from a private school’s locked room in Kanchrapara. The institution’s accountant has been detained for questioning, failing to provide a satisfactory explanation for the large sum. Allegations of financial irregularities and cheating have been filed against four individuals, including the school’s chairman.
