Fatou, the world’s oldest captive gorilla, celebrated her 69th birthday at the Berlin Zoo with a special, sugar-free meal. Arriving in 1959, she is a western lowland gorilla whose exact birth date is unknown but officially celebrated on April 13. Despite her age and health challenges, Fatou remains friendly with her keepers.
