Coal India OFS draws strong institutional demand, bids worth Rs 19,000 crore received on Day 1

Institutional investors showed strong interest in Coal India’s offer for sale on Wednesday. They placed bids worth approximately Rs 19,000 crore. This demand significantly exceeded the portion reserved for them. The government is selling up to a 2 percent stake in the company. Retail investors can bid on May 29.
