Country Club promised plot with membership but never gave it; ordered to pay Rs 3.25L

A consumer commission in Delhi has ordered a hospitality club to reimburse a customer a sum of Rs 1.75 lakh after the club failed to deliver promised membership perks, including a complimentary plot in Maharashtra. In addition to the refund, the commission awarded Rs 1 lakh for mental distress and Rs 50,000 for legal costs.
