‘Criminal trespassers’: TMC vows court battle as rival faction captures party HQ

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has accused a rival faction led by expelled MLA Ritabrata Banerjee of illegally seizing its Kolkata headquarters, labeling them ‘criminal trespassers’ and vowing legal action. The party claims police allowed the rebels to lock the premises, alleging a conspiracy with the BJP. This follows the rebel group’s move to stake claim over the TMC’s name and symbol with the Election Commission.
