DRDO conducts maiden live jump of advanced high-altitude parachute in Ladakh

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully executed its first live jump with the advanced high-altitude parachute system in Nyoma, from a height of 16,000 feet. This successful jump verified the parachute’s effectiveness for mass drops, ensuring safety at high altitudes. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commended this milestone as a testament to Aatmanirbhar Bharat, showcasing the synergy of India’s defence entities.
