Drug firms told to strengthen monitoring of medicine side effects

This directive, stemming from Schedule M of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, reinforces the critical need for post-marketing surveillance to ensure patient safety. The move aligns with a global push for real-world safety data to identify rare or delayed side effects.
