EC sanctions one-time honorarium of Rs 6,000 for BLOs and supervisors involved in SIR process

The Election Commission of India has approved a one-time honorarium of Rs 6,000 for Booth Level Officers. This payment is for their work during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. The additional payment is sanctioned due to the scale and nature of the required revision work. This directive has been sent to chief electoral officers across multiple states and Union Territories.
