Ex-Meta employee claims it had a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy on child safety issues

A former Meta safety researcher testified against the company in court. Arturo Béjar claimed Meta ignored child safety concerns to protect its business. He stated the company had a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy regarding underage users. Béjar also criticized CEO Mark Zuckerberg for insufficient action on safety issues. This testimony is part of a major trial brought by 29 US states.
