AI giant Anthropic has withheld its powerful new model, Claude Mythos Preview, due to fears of destabilizing cybersecurity. The model can autonomously find and analyze software vulnerabilities at scale, potentially enabling even non-specialists to exploit sophisticated flaws. Anthropic is instead offering controlled access to select partners for defensive purposes.
