Exporters flag concerns over West Asia war impact

Exporters face order uncertainty and higher logistics costs due to the West Asia crisis. Shipping schedules are delayed, and buyers are delaying purchase decisions. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met with export promotion bodies to discuss these issues. He backed further support for service exporters, especially hospitality and medical tourism. Despite global uncertainties, India’s merchandise exports have grown by fifteen percent this fiscal.
