EY India chief seeks easier GST refunds, tax credits

EY India chairman Rajiv Memani emphasized the importance of expediting GST refunds and addressing input tax credit issues. He suggested allowing companies to claim expenses related to travel and insurance as eligible credits. Memani highlighted the successful impact of recent GST reforms on India’s economic growth. He projected FDI flows could exceed $100 billion this year, which may double in three years.
