Georgia arrests second deputy in a month over alleged Flock misuse

In a troubling turn of events, a second deputy from Habersham County, Jonathan Thomas, has been dismissed and arrested for misusing surveillance technology. He reportedly accessed the license plate reader system for personal use, following a similar incident involving former deputy Christian Brewer. As a response, the sheriff’s office is enhancing regulations around sensitive data access, part of a broader state investigation into data misuse incidents.
