Goodwill listed gold Lego piece from $14.95; rare mask later sold for $18,101

A small gold LEGO mask found inside a donated jewellery bag at a Goodwill store in Pennsylvania turned out to be a rare collector’s item. Initially listed for $14.95, the 14-karat gold Bionicle Kanohi Hau mask attracted bids from collectors and eventually sold for $18,101 in March 2024. Only 30 such masks were produced in 2001.
