Google announces Gemini updates to help when users ask about mental health issues

Google is enhancing its Gemini chatbot to better identify users in distress and connect them with mental health resources. The AI will now offer a one-touch interface for crisis support and a redesigned module for general mental health information. Google is also funding global crisis helplines and integrating Gemini into training tools for sensitive conversations.
