Google turns 28: Why Larry Page let Sergey Brin name Alphabet

Google, founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, has expanded significantly beyond its search engine origins. The company now operates under Alphabet, a parent structure for diverse technological ventures. Larry Page chose the name Google, while Sergey Brin selected Alphabet for the parent company.
